Key thing to remember during the lecture bash:

TIME! Make sure to adjust your message according to the time you have been granted from the study. DO NOT go over time. This will leave a bad impression with the study administration in the future, and you want good relations with the study.

Time you are working with: 5 – 10 minutes!

Working with your time: In the Lecture bash it is essential to use some powerful visual elements in order to be remembered. You must keep in mind that students are sitting all day and listening to a professor talk, so what will make you stand out is not something you say, but something you show.

Therefore, your best friend in a Lecture bash is an energising and “calling to action” video.

If you have time, you can show a Powerpoint presentation where you explain more about your projects.

Professor introduces you (make sure that you have talked with the anchoring professor of the lecture before, and that this person can introduce you to get the students’ full attention).
You: Firstly I would like thank (name of Professor) for allowing us/me to talk to you today!
You: Hello my name (insert your name here) and I am a student and also (insert your title here) in AIESEC (LC name), where I daily manage sales and lead a team of 5 people from different academic and cultural backgrounds.
You: I’m here today to introduce AIESEC to you, and why I think you should join.

You: We are currently recruiting members for these projects (name the projects in your LC), and are looking for people with this mindset (name mindset and mentality of your ideal member).
